One of the things on the mind of a new mother, besides her baby’s well being, is how to get the pregnancy weight off. Giving birth is a wonderful thing but what it is doing to mother’s body is not that wonderful. Hips expand, stomach becomes flobby, breasts enlarge (this could be a good thing, ask her husband). In today’s society women are under pressure to look skinny. The popular culture emphasizes tight, slim bodies through television and magazines. Just look at celebrities who have children, they lose weight fast right after birth. But what they don’t tell you is that losing weight so fast is a hard work and it is expensive. Personal trainers, personal chefs and nannies make weight loss much easier. Unfortunately not all of us can afford this. So we are left with taking care of our babies while cooking our meals and exercise comes last.
The value of exercise cannot be undervalued. Diet can only do so much. To get rid of extra weight and “tighten it up” you need regular exercices. Don’t despair, exersices don’t have to be grueling, just 10-15 minutes per day, concentrating on specific areas can do wonders. Sit ups, crunches and ball exersices are all work well.
Many different surgeries available to women who want to lose their baby weight fast. I am talking about stomach stapling and similar procedures. The new kid on the block is gastric lap banding, it is becoming popular for overweight and obese people. As any surgery you must consider consequences of going under a knife, there could be complications. But if you want to lose your pregnancy weight fast, it could be viable option.
There are many different ways to lose weight: diet, exercise, other unconventional methods. Losing weight after birth is an important topic for many women and mothers. They need to be in shape to take care of their babies which by itself can promote weight loss. Let’s admit it that taking care of babies and toddlers is a full time job. It is not easy and it will help you lose weight. But you must also follow good diet which is not only good for you but good for your baby if you are breastfeeding.
Many types of exercises are catering specifically to losing weight after pregnancy. They concentrate on certain areas such as stomach, hips and butt. These exercises are not hard and only take minutes each day. But sometimes it is hard to find even a few minutes to dedicate to exercises while taking care of newborn babies.
Jessica Alba gave birth to her daughter on June 7th. On August 17th she made a splash on the red carpet at ALMA Awards. She looked stunning in Narciso Rodriguez dress. Her trainer talks about Jessica’s weight loss in People magazine. Jessica diet is pretty simple and does not require live-in chef.
